The Tenancy Agreement

The tenancy agreement is the contract between us (Chew Property Services) and you. It lets you live in one of our properties providing you pay your rent and follow the rules. It also explains the legal terms and conditions of your tenancy. Our agreements are based on UK Government examples. You can find out more about your legal rights and responsibilities on the UK Government Private Renting website.

Moving In.

When you move in there are a number of things to be done. This is normal and ensures that we are both aware of our legal duties and responsibilities.

During your tenancy

It is our responsibility to make sure the property is both a safe and healthy environment for you.

Tip: We also ask you to help us by reporting any issues promptly so they can be fixed before they worsen or become significant e.g. it is easier to reseal a window or bath than it is to get a wall replastered.
